Coomera is the fastest growth area of the Gold Coast and where you can build your dream home in new estates with natural gas. Many areas of the Gold Coast does not have piped gas and as mornings and evenings do get quite cool in winter (July), you will be looking for some type of heating once you acclimatise. Many builders build homes in around 14 weeks due to the great weather.

Train stations are at Ormeau, Pimpama, Coomera, Helensvale, Nerang and Robina further south. From Helensvale station, the journey to Brisbane only takes 60 minutes so you have more employment opportunities without sacrificing the Gold Coast lifestyle. The M1 Pacific Motorway can get you to Brisbane CBD in 45 minutes - no accidents of course!

Universities are at Southport and TAFEs can be found at Ashmore and Southport with talk of another campus at Coomera. When selecting primary and secondary school education, consider the fact that you may have to travel a distance to take your children to school.
